Ocean View - 2 Bedroom Townhouse

Location and living space and cleanliness was very good. It was what we expected from the description and price, except we were disappointed with the basics that weren't included to make our arrival more comfortable - please see what we didn't like. Staff were very cooperative with dropping the key off to a location as we were unable to collect from the office during opening times.

No basic extras that you expect such as a few tea bags, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, more than one toilet roll etc. It would've made us feel more settled on arrival. In addition, thin curtains which made sleep difficult when it would be simple to have black-out curtains. One of the bedroom lights didn't work and the TV didn't work, so maybe check them before a new booking. We did enjoy our stay though because of the location, living space, cleanliness and helpful staff.

The location was excellent very peaceful and great views

Location - at high tide the waves break literally under the window. The sound of the sea and the view of the waves rolling in across the bay. Nice cafe on the corner.

Location It was warm

The most expensive and unaccommodating place I have ever stayed with my husband and dog. £342.00 for one Friday night at the end of August, plus a refundable deposit, plus extra for the very well behaved dog. My husband was refused permission to use the bathroom when we went to the office to pick up the key. We had driven from Achill Island to get there for a time which had to be specified in advance. Drier didn’t work and wet clothes had to be hung all around the place to dry. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to work and washed dishes by hand. The house was not inspected before we paid a deposit and we were worried that we might have to pay for the cracked bath panel, loose toilet seat and chipped worktop in Kitchen. It transpired that we did not have to pay for this previously done damage. We had to be out by 10.00am which was ridiculous considering the cost for one night and we could not check in until 3.00pm the previous day. Cleaners who turned up at 10.00am exactly were pleasant and accommodating, unlike the office staff.

Location was perfect, very close and within walking distance to local bar’s restaurants etc Home very warm and cosy.

Could have been more towels, toilet paper. Had to leave security deposit of €150 and can be held for up to 3 weeks. Difficult to park right outside door as others parked in space. Seems only one space outside for each house. Remote control of digital tv was taped up but still didn’t work.

We loved the location the house was very comfortable with everything we needed in it and staff were very helpful and friendly

Roomy, centrally located, loved the kitchen package - tea towels, soap, dishcloth. Ken friendly and chatty. Near to various eateries and supermarket.lived hearing the oceanright outside window and watching waves.

Bed wasn't overly comfy, lightbulbs missing in numerous lamps, couldn't get drier to work. Usually peat/logs etc and firelighters provided by host.

The location is excellent and the town house itself is very nice and cozy. Bundoran is a beautiful town and these townhouses are our favourite place to stay in town.
