Applecote a studio apartment for two Rye, East Sussex

The bed was very comfortable, provided everything we could’ve wanted and it was all easy to find and very organised! Owner was lovely and we loved her dog. A very relaxing and comfy getaway

Attractive, unusual, well-equipped

Very nicely designed cabin with high rafters in a quiet residential lane about 20 mins easy walk from Rye. Small, but lovely,peaceful garden to sit in under mature apple trees. Owner lives next door. Nice footpath walk downhill into Rye partly along the Military Road. Alternative walk is downhil along the busy main road.

Feels slightly cramped at floor level. A cabin for 2 but only 1 armchair to sit in so the other person would have to sit on the bed. The most irritating thing was the wet room/bathroom which didn't drain properly so after each shower you had to spend at least 5 mins mopping or squeeging the floor as it was flooded.

A beautiful cottage with its own little garden, and all the facilities you need. . It's about 20 minutes walk from Rye centre, with lots of lovely foot paths nearby. So quiet and peaceful, and super clean. Jaqui was a superb host. Thoughtfully recommended.

Nothing. The property was grossly unsafe, unclean and too cramped. There was nowhere to put clothes, suitcases and the basin in the shower room is cloakroom size and too close to the toilet. We could not stay.

Everything. It was too risky due to appliances in unsafe positions. We were appalled and dismayed to have to find alternative accommodation on Christmas eve. We are taking action against the owners for our money.

Self contained with all faciltys you could possibly need . Very comfortable bed and lovely decor . Wood burner was lovely but did not use as stayed in August but would have loved to have seen it working in cold spell so hopefully we will come back . Good location to beautifull Rye and all of its great shops Pubs and Resturants,which we used many .😁 Also many places to visit in surrounding area ..

Beautiful little cottage, thoughtfully presented and very well equipped. Wonderful location, incredibly quiet and peaceful with facilities close by. Easy to walk to the pub which serves great food. Kind and attentive hosts.

Location was good. Pleasant patio area.

Could have been cleaner. Dog hairs in the bed.
