Fantastic place, very comfortable with all mod cons. Very friendly and helpful host. There was plenty of food and water provided to get us going. Would definitely come back and hope for the weather to be better, to experience the sunsets in the evening

This just might be the Mary Poppins of holiday homes, 'practically perfect in every way'. Very comfortable, fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and so quiet. The shade from the oak trees on the west-facing terrace keeps things cool, whilst still enjoying the views. Giorgios and Voula were endlessly helpful, left fresh wild flowers in the house, and food and drink so you could arrive straight from the airport and not need to shop until the next day. There are walks from the door, and it's 20 minutes to Kissamos, an hour to Chania.

Having to come home.

"Relaxing by all means."

The property is just perfect for a couple. Large room with everything one needs. A cozy sitting area, a large dining table, an outrageously comfortable bed, even a bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a massive fridge and a dishwasher. A big terrasse facing west for long afternoon and evening sun. There’s a separate bathroom with wc and shower.

It was my second stay at Velanis House and it was wonderful again. I love the architecture of the house and the quiet surroundings. Great hosts, quick and easy communication. Thank you!!!
