Excellent location, a spacious apartment, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed.

Really good location

The location was superb - so easy to get to local facilities, to bus links, to the rest of the Old Town of Chania. The top floor balcony and table outside gave a magnificent view, and a sense of the neighbourhood. This was very special. The house was clean, and well provided with amenities and facilities. The shower downstairs was excellent. Water was always hot.

The main double bed on the fist flooor was particularly uncomfortable, it had a severe dip in its mattress which caused poor sleep and discomfort. The drains smelled bad, particularly at the start of the day, withn the bad odour coming up through the kitchen sink. The 2 TVs didnt work. The one in the bedromm switched on, but without instructions we could not access any TV channels. The main TV in the downstairs lounge would not start up, no matter what we tried. The staircases were undoubtedly difficult to climb. Accesssing the bathroom during the night when sleeping in the top bedroom was challenging.

Apartament w wyremontowanym starym, typowym dla centrum Chanii domu. Świetne balkony i tarasy, zwłaszcza na pierwszym piętrze (z prysznicem). Mała kuchnia - ale wyposażona we wszystko co potrzeba. Doskonały kontakt z gospodarzem w razie potrzeby.

We 2 girls were here for 2 nights for mainly hiking Samaria gorge. The host sent us wrong address when checking -in , wasted us more than 90 minutes , we ended up getting in the house after 11:00 pm ! We were tired and frustrated but stayed calm and polite with her . We had to get up at 5 am the day after for hiking !!! Every minute counted for our night sleep at that moment ! On the day of check-out , she messaged us that her new guests must check in at 11:30 am and we must leave by 11:00 am . When I booked her place , I asked her if we could leave our luggage here till we came back from a tour around 2-3 pm , she clearly answered back ” YES ” ！ thus when I saw her message we were shocked , we were already out for touring the city . We could not trust her at all ! We rushed back around 11 am as her asked since we were afraid she would throw our luggages out. I have been using booking.com for many years , I am at level 3 , this is the first time to encounter a such untrustworthy host who has such unpredictable behaviours . Should the management of booking.com do something to prevent this happen ?

Die Lage ist sehr gut, schnell in der Altstadt, schnell am Meer, leise

Das obere Bett ist zu weich, das Bad ist sehr klein und direkt hinter der Küche, die Badtür schließt schlecht, die Terassenmöbel sind z.T. zum Austauschen, die Küche ist sehr klein, die Treppen sind sehr steil, es ist ein kleines Altstadthaus, und das sollte man bei der Buchung berücksichtigen.
