Lovely grounds and nice warm cottage which was perfect in winter. Great facilities and storage space provided in the bed rooms should you be staying for a week. Very comfy beds and lovely to have a separate bath and shower which is ideal if travelling with smaller children...stairgates also fitted at top and bottom of stairs which was lovely. Really made for an easy relaxing break.

Website said dogs would receive doggy welcome pack as part of the £25 per dog per stay payment which they didn't...and website also said possibility to order pasteries, coffee pods and drinks but this wasnt available, perhaps this is only something they do in season as my trip was during new year but this could have been clearer on their own website if it was seasonal.

The quiet and peaceful atmosphere, stair gates on stairs

Cobwebs everywhere, stained towels, ripped sofas, mouldy bread in bread tin, always cold on the first floor no lighting on back stairs which is dangerous in the dark

Great location and very easy to find! Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely well presented cottage on beautiful grounds with everything you needed for a family break!

Nothing… apart from having to leave such a lovely place when our holiday was over!

"Lovely little Gem in rural North Devon"

This place is excellent. It's a group of little cottages in a rural location. It's really comfortable, clean and warm. It's so quiet it's unbelievable. My accomodation consisted of a small cost 2 bed cottage. The water pressure for bathing and showering is brilliant, constant hot water. The kitchen is very well equipped and I had a brilliant range of tV channels.

The Internet and mobile signal (I'm on EE) was a bit sketchy and slow at times, but being rural this should be expected!

The area is beautiful, cottage warm, comfy and has everything you need for a wonderful get away. Keys were in our door as we arrived late. It really is the perfect base for exploring

Lots of space, in a lovely area with plenty to do

It was quite chilly when we stayed but we couldn’t put heating on as it was set to come on at a certain temperature.
