Friendly owners and staff. Quiet location with excellent accommodation.

Everything! The roundhouse was beautiful and well equipped, perfectly clean with comfy beds. Hot tub was great too! We were there over Halloween and the added touches like the treasure hunt for the children were really lovely.

Nothing! We’ve already rebooked for next year.

We agreed to arrive a little earlier and actually again arrived earlier than the time agreed due to traffic being better than we thought! We were shown to our accommodation and given a show around on how to use the hot tub etc along with what will be happening on site. The accommodation was comfy and clean. Log burner and heating took time to get used too but we found the right way for us. Our boys loved being able to feed the animals, going on a skeleton hunt, borrowing games, playing football and making friends with other children who were staying there too. Little touches like having salt, pepper, tea bags and sugar was great touch! Along with the utensils and pots etc Everytime we see the staff they greeted us with our names which is lovely. Has such a family feel there. Also letting us know where local attractions, shops and garages were too. The digital handbook is such a good idea; maybe a printed one inside the lodge too?! The lighting at night is so lovely and picturesque it made it feel magical! Every morning the hot tub was maintained, we all loved using it even the boys early in the morning! Will definitely return!

Nothing major at all! Just a few points The sheets on the bedding we found a bit annoying to be honest and also the pillows were a bit hard for our liking so used pillows off of the bunk beds as boys only use one each. The door was a little sticky to open;
