The location inside of the fort is unique and super special. The house itself is historic and interesting; while being comfortable and cozy.

The property is lovely and quiet in an ideal location with all the facilities you would need. Lots of information provided and Geraldine was very good accommodating our check ins and outs. Thank you!

The location, the house and the host were amazing!

What an amazing and unique spot to stay in. Despite it being an old house it was very well heated which came in handy during a storm, including hot water bottles provided and a wood fire in the living room! Only a very short walk to the city centre which is really convenient, also right next door to local corner shops, an off license, coffee shop and a chippy for when we didn't want to cook for ourselves. A really well presented home in general and one we'd love to visit again. It's not often that you get to stay in a fort!

My only gripe was that there was a radio in the living room which didn't work. There was no TV which is grand and adds to the exerience, but we would have enjoyed a bit of music and the tuning dial didn't work. No internet was manageable as we have 4g but the prices is ever so slightly high for accommodation without this amenity. Despite these things we've picked at the positives vastly outweigh the negatives.

The uniqueness of the property

This house is literally located within Fort Elizabeth. It was a bit confusing at first since we were looking for it near the fort - not within the fort. It is a very special location and very much within the city of Cork and near all town sites, dining, shopping and pub entertainment. The house was very comfortable and charming. It had all the contents to make us feel at home.

parking can be challenging peak season. We were there during the Jazz Festival and even then, we were able to find nearby parking. So, not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. It does not come with its own parking.

The idea of it, the location, how clean it was , and everyone was nice and helpful!
