As a family we love the atmosphere. The amount of space. We have stayed here before.

Beautiful accommodation with everything we needed. I definitely recommend this accommodation. The host was very nice. We will book the accommodation again next time. Thank you

Quiet place. Massive garden. Nature around. Dog friendly.

A bit cold but when text to landlord to rise temperature up, next night was warm and cozy.

Our second stay here, again place was clean and tidy. Dogs had lovely a garden to go out in. Plenty of parking. Quiet location. Will hopefully be staying again next year.

The host followed up every question very quickly and tried to fix any problems on the same day The house was spacious and quirky. The outdoor swing is a nice feature.

The property was surrounded by a beautiful private garden that was really peaceful. My girls loved the swing amongst the flowers and we ended up spending one of our days here most of the day because it was so pretty and calming. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we will be visiting again.

The building is very neglected and looks poor from the outside. Inside the building the kitchen and bathrooms were shabby. For example, there is no door-handle to the kitchen and the cupboards were aged. The loo-seat was loose. Also we did not like the fact that all controls over the heating were held by the owner. On Monday morning my fingers were blue with cold ( in the dining-room). my friend texted the owner who responded quickly. However it is not a nice experience. Had we had control over the heating, we would have turned it down, in particular at night but also when we were out. Interestingly, there is a screen in the living-room, recording the fact that the weekly heating budget has been exceeded. But why display that to the visitors, who have no or very limited control over the heating? I also did not like the fact that no one was there at the start of our stay, and also no ( telephone) contact made after our arrival to see if everything was all right. Also all instructions were sent in an e-mail: there was no printed house-book with information, which we could have consulted without opening the e-mail. ( I go on holiday to get away from the mail). To sum up, to be fair, the garden is beautiful, especially at this time of year and I must say that all facilities did work and the landlady did respond when we made contact during the day. After 2000 her phone is turned off. However, because of the less good aspects, we did not complete our stay, we would not come back and I would not recommend this property to anyone else, also because for the price paid, we did not get value for money.
