"Ein Traum"

10.0

"One of the most beautiful accomodations we ever had in Istria."

10.0

Beautiful historical house, calm area, plenty of space and a beautiful surroundings to walk the dogs. The host representative, Sanja, was very nice and helpful. And of course, the spa is fantastic!

Kitchen is a bit smaller, but we didn’t mind, as there was only two of us.

We stayed at House Nono Beno at the end of August, 4 adults and 3 kids. When we arrived, we were met by Sanja, a lovely lady who showed us around. We had some complimentary fruit, house wine, and olive oil waiting for us. Sanja was very helpful during our stay, answering all questions and providing us with the stuff we asked for. Our many thanks to her for being such a great host. The place itself is magnificent. The house is located in a small Istrian village, it looks really authentic, and it has its own history. At the same time, it is also equipped with the necessary modern amenities like AC and the internet. There is a large BBQ area, an outside dining space (we would always have breakfast there), and a large terrace with a hot tub. The two fig trees next to the house during the fig season were a huge bonus since we all love figs. The house surroundings are beautiful, as the village is nested among the olive and grape gardens. The road to the village goes through them. The village is very secluded and quiet, especially at night with only cicadas heard. We would drive every day to the beach or Novigrad, which were about 10-15 minutes away. It took us a couple of days to learn the road so make sure your GPS is working when you leave the village for the first few times. Overall, we found this place an excellent choice if you want to have a quiet authentic vacation with comfort. Our kids loved it as well. It is also relatively close to the city, thus you would not have any issues getting somewhere by car easily.

Since we stayed for a week, we missed a washing machine somewhat. Insects may get annoying at times, but this is because of the great climate. There are mosquito repellents in the bedrooms, we recommend plugging them in at night.
