Central Great private spot

All good A bit tight if you are more than two - but easily to handle

Furniture was very comfy(espetially the bedroom bed) with full black out "curtains". Nothing creaks, everything was in great condition. Kitchen had everything we needed. The place is very spatious and you can have a spot for 5 daily prayers in it. It is close to the Marjan park and old city center. Easy check-in/out.

There is free street parking, but it is quiet busy (expect to walk up to 10 minutes to the residence + having a small car helps). Wifi internet was ok (~20 Mbits/s), but would occasionally go down. Upper toilet stinks a bit.

Spotless very clean and comfortable

Spacious place with 2 floors of space and car park right in front of the house. House looks recently renovated with modern decorations, in a quaint old stone house. Lovely that bedroom is 2nd floor and we can do our laundry, drink our wines, watch our ipad, without disturbing our sleeping son. Host communicates well and helped us reserve the car park slot right in front of the apartment. The apartment is right near the edge of the no car zone (old town), so we didn't have to drive around.

The apartment was ok clean. But when we close up the sofa bed, it revealed alot of accumulated dust under and beside the sofa. It made the ground floor very dirty and we had to clean it up. The floor outside toilet keeps getting wet, because there isn't a door and it isn't raised. The car park is in a pretty tight road. But that is expected near old towns.

This is a great location. Its just outside of downtown but still walkable. There a lot of restaurants and shops near by. Very cute small side streets to walk around. The house is very cozy and the perfect size for a weekend getaway. If you have luggage there is a pretty large closet upstairs in the bedroom.

Parking. Parking is free around the house but VERY tight and you do not have a designated spot. We had a small (economy-sized) rental car in October (not busy-season) and still took some patience to actually park. It is all street parking so you are waiting around trying to find a spot and then it takes quite a long time to actually park the car if you are not used to it. You will likely be parallel parking up against a wall in a very small spot. Getting to the actual house involves a few small streets where only one car at a time will fit. That is all pretty common in Split but just be mentally prepared for that before you arrive. Most rentals in the area have the same parking situations so I'm not sure its avoidable in Split.

The house is really cute, clean and comfortable. Everything is beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. It is also really well located, your can visit everything while walking in Split. The parking was free. Also, our host, who have been really helpful to find nice places to eat and at our disposal when needed.

Very few things : It can be a little bit long to find somewhere to park for free near the house. One suggestion : maybe add a dryer for the clothes.
