Casa Quint

Based on using the larger of the two cottages, it's like living in someone else's home, someone who loves plants, books, cosy decorations, and with a nice collection of vinyls. Fabulous view over the rolling plains to the south towards Zámoly. Loved everything about this place! The owner even provided for a selection of (tasty) local wines for sale on an honesty basis. Another reviewer mentioned a muddy track to the house: I had snow, ice and slush in January, and my AWD Octavia had no problems at all, an easy drive.

Writing this two months later, I honestly can't remember anything to fault. A bit pricey perhaps, but then it's a fab place. It must be amazing in summer with the terrace!

Het uitzicht is fenomenaal. De inrichting is helemaal onze smaak en het luisteren naar vinyl was echt leuk. Een heerlijk huis. Hou wel rekening met de route naar het huisje toe. Onze auto was er te laag voor. Het is een onverhard bergpaadje en de auto raakte continue de grond.

We vonden het water erg stinken en je haar bleef er ook naar ruiken. Je moet alles met opgevangen regenwater wassen. De was rook ernaar en dat had wel in de advertentie gemogen. We hadden geen waterkoker en droogrek wat wel te doen was maar onhandig.

Really nicely done, lovely hideaway. No complaints, we enjoyed our stay.
