Friendly staff and tasty Nasi Goreng for breakfast without any additional fees. Overall a very nice homestay

The host was welcoming and chatty, good converstaion in general.

Pretty much everything:/ The place was the dirtiest and most disgusting we have ever stayed at in ALL Sumatra. The 'breakfast' was a few slices stale toast bread..joke! The 'bathroom' was overrun by cockroaches, no soap, no toilet paper, and the windows didn't close. Thus, not much sleep given it was near the mosque. We booked an extra night as we arrived by nightbus in the morning, but somehow, the place was still not fully ready and was in the process of being cleaned. My absolute fav part, of course, is the fact of being scammy. He asked even more money for scooter rental than at the most touristy place, Lake Toba. Also, he tried to tell us an even higher price the next day, which really left us disappointed. As well as on top of the high price, he asked for money for petrol (which normally is included in the price!), and again, he really tried his best to overcharge us, super disappointing! Sadly, hosts like him only see us travellers as an opportunity to make money out of, and it can really ruin your experience. Overall, I would 100% NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE and advise you to avoid this place. On departure, he even messaged us and asked for a good review. Well, let's just say that if the stay had been good, I'd be happy to leave a great review.

had a really great time at Bajus Homestay. Preis Service really good. Baju is really nice, did also a tour with him to harau valley, and showed us the best spots. Would definitely recommend

The house owner was friendly and helpful. the location nearby to restaurant (walking distance). simple house but complete and suitable for family. last but not least the house owner prepare simple breakfast and its yummy

Wasn’t the most clean place, shower not really existing.

The house is well located near the city center and the tourist area. The room is big and clean. There is hot water. There are free coffee and tea.

The establishment is near a mosque, so he cans to have lot of noise for a moment. We have not had lucky for our stay because we share the accommodation with anorher family and the family was very noisy and they do not respected us. We told it to the owner, who do nothing to do for improved the situation. That is damage
