I liked how it was out in the countryside but also accessible to sligo & bundoran. Also liked the wee bar area and the walkway through fields to get to the beach. Loved how he decorated for my dads birthday! Not many places would!

Wasn’t impressed by the neighbours for saying we were being loud late at night and out front smoking when we werent we kept to minimal noise as my family were asleep , also in regards to us on scooters, 4 boys was seen, it was 2 girls 2 boys was a bit over the top we were just enjoying our time and keeping ourselves to ourselves!

A warm welcome with a boiled kettle and apple pie. A personal overview of the property and it's functions and facilities. Plenty of advice about local tourist sites and eateries that proved to be well founded and worth visiting. A beautiful, quiet location within 10 minutes walk of the sea (rocky) and a 5 minute drive of sandy Streedagh beach. An outhouse is available to dry wetsuits or store beach gear.

Kettle on and scones ready for our arrival. Beautiful location and excellent accommodation. The host was nearby for any additional needs and had great recommendations.

The warm welcome, the peace and quiet and wonderful location between the mountains and the sea. John the host is thoughtful and a great communicator.

Enjoyed our stay a lot.

For tall people the upstairs is a bit challenging.

There are two individual cottages available. We had the smaller but it was still perfectly roomy for three adults. Two full baths. Kitchen essentials supplied (including a lovely apple tart!). The host John is utterly charming. The location overlooking the sea is just spectacular. Very easy walk down to Streedagh Beach. And the view of Benbulben in the other direction is gorgeous. We used this as a base for day trips to Slieve League and Donegal Town, stopped in at the Rusty Mackerel, Glencar Waterfall and Gleniff Horseshoe, Bundoran, and the Fairy Bridges. It's in a quiet area, so great sleeping.

Fantastic location with wonderful views all around. John was very friendly and helpful and the property had a lot of small touches that helped us with our stay. For example, prior to arriving, we had driven over to Coney Island and the two cars were splattered with salty sand. There was a hose and a brush in the yard for just such an eventuality.

Can't really think of anything that didn't live up to our hopes, except maybe the weather. All amenities were provided and the beds were comfortable. The house is a very warm house too.
