Traditional Cosy Cottage with beautiful views

Excellent location. Lovely host. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cosy. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

The cottage is on Rural Road 335 and directly across from the Great Western Greenway- walk or bike to Westport. It is updated, more roomy than the pictures or description of cozy imply, and a lovely place to stay for a few days or longer. It is also soundproof and full of light! The owner is a sheep farmer and lives next door. He greeted us and gave us a tour of the cottage and provided lots on local information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Westport has so much to offer.

Our hosts, Sean and Clare, were so accommodating and thoughtful. The cottage was so spacious and well appointed, it exceeded our expectations. I can only thoroughly recommend the property, the people and the place. A genuine highlight of our month in Ireland.

Sean met us as we arrived and gave us helpful info about our place and the town of Westport. Very friendly and helpful.

It was really so lovely—huge bedrooms, cool skylight windows, a washing machine, a TV with Netflix access, spotless bathrooms and a free place to park! Minutes to town👍

The quiet location just outside the town was wonderful The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The host Sean was friendly and very keen to assist with any answers to questions we had. [Perhaps explain the reference number for the google map directions in the initial text to poor Australians as we got lost but it was sorted in a few minutes.... this was our first experience of this for directions! Sean was an expert in knowing where we were and came to fetch us! The lambs were adorable. The beds were very comfortable Bathroom excellent and hot water good. Kitchen was well appointed. The greenway provided an easy walk into Westport 10 mins

Having to leave and not stay for a whole week as it is a wonderful set up and Westport is a great little town /area

Perfect location, outside of town so nice and quiet but only a quick walk via the greenway into Westport (or to the coast). House was lovely, lots of space and well-appointed. Owner lived nearby so any issues were taken care of quickly. It was lambing season too so adorable scenery.
