Heather Cottage, Creeslough

If you look for a peaceful location to enjoy the nature, it's perfect.There is a lake nearby, and the cottage is located handy for sightseeing.Owners are very kind and welcoming. We even got to meet some baby sheep, thanks to David.Highly recommended.You have everything you need in the cottage,cooking equipment beyond the expectation every detail is thought about.

The cottage is very big, well equipped, well insulated and keeps warm in the winter, and there’s a fireplace. It’s perfectly located in the country side, with no other house around and between hills. It’s quiet, and gorgeous location, really ideal for a holiday away from the city. Our stay there was amazing and the hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. We really felt pampered. That said, we’re thankful to both for making the stay so awesome, and would absolutely book again!

We absolutely loved the fire in the living room, the whole cottage had a cosy feel to it. Definitely a home from home ❤️ so many beautiful walks in the area & we especially loved our sheep neighbours during our stay 🙏🏼😇 we can’t wait to go back. David & Suzanne are very helpful & there was a lot of information booklets for us to pick and choose from the best attractions to local pubs & restaurants. Five stars from us ⭐️

Loved everything about Heather Cottage - the perfect location, stunning views and had all the facilities we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. Will definitely return. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage Suzanne & David 😊

Couldn't fault this cottage.

Very peaceful, not a sound to be heard. The host checked a couple of times that all was ok and then left us be. After a long journey the host had the stove lit for us and it was so welcoming when we opened the door.

Not a thing could be improved on.

Beautiful location in the gorgeous Donegal Hills. So quiet and peaceful, just what we needed to recharge our batteries and get away from it all. A bonus was the enclosed area which meant our daughter could bring her dog along. Close to all the lovely scenery, Ards Park, Glenveagh Park, Mt Errigal, beautiful beaches of the North Atlantic Way etc. Close to Creeslough village for shopping and only 25 minutes from Letterkenny for leisure centres, cinema and big town shopping. Owners Suzanne and David were helpful and accessible if needed. Hope to return.
