"A lovely property ideally located."

Very convenient for the centre of the village and all amenities. clean, tidy excellent facilities for 3 friends on a fishing trip. Very helpful property owners. Make sure everything is perfect for the stay.

We had a great stay at Ash Tree Cottage, it was a lovely house and close to pubs and shops. The host was lovely and friendly and met us as soon as we arrived. We will certainly make a return visit

"Amazing, lovely hosts and ideal house and location"

I liked the fact that we had a lovely warm welcome from Gerry , he showed us around the house and left some groceries in the fridge for us ! The house was lovely and warm when we arrived and the turf was stacked up so we could start a fire ! The bedrooms were lovely and cost and spacious and even provided extra blankets in the cupboards which was fabulous ! I will definitely be back !

Everything was amazing, only thing was we didn’t know where to put our black bags with rubbish so we had to leave them out the back as we wasent sure where to put them.

The hosts welcomed us with sweets and dog treats the nicest thing ever done on a stay, the place was very warm and cosy. I'd highly reccomend very suitable for a larger family.

"Quaint quiet cottage in a good location"

The cottage was very homely and we felt comfortable straight away. Pauline and Gerard were welcoming and friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They had left the essentials for a cup of tea when we arrived. Milk in the fridge, biscuits and buns in the cupboard. 😁 I would certainly recommend a stay at the cottage. Value for money and situated in a good location for day trips to places of interest around Mayo.

"Perfect in every way"

I stayed in Ash Tree Cottage with 3 friends of my mountaineering club and this was, by far, the best place we stayed in on our trip. The house was perfect in every way: beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean and well located, specially if you want to explore Wild Nephin NP (the Bangor Trail trail head is just a few minutes away on foot). Aditionally, Gerard is, simply put, the most welcoming, helpful and kind host I have ever met. Thanks for everything!
