Easy to find, spacious clean house that has everything

The location was very nice. The key collection was easy, and there was plenty of space for the taxi to drop us off. The road up to the house can be a bit tight (to get to the stunning views!) and the local taxi drivers are pros at getting up to the house. We enjoyed sitting around the living room and having family time. The beds were comfortable and the house felt clean. We had adults in two of the rooms and three kids in the bunk room which worked great. We brought our own laundry detergent and did a load of wash. There is no clothes dryer so we used the outside drying rack. We were lucky to have a sunny day for the clothes. We had to contact Ryan a few times and he was responsive each time.

We contacted Ryan a few times with issues and each time he did respond quickly. However, those issues were not fixed, and did affect our stay so we wanted to share them. It sounds like Ryan was not made aware of some the issues and he was surprised too. He told us the cleaners never notified him. As much as we loved the views, we gave a lower rating for comfort and facilities. What we needed most was a place to have dinner and a nice shower since we spent the day out of the house. For the shower, the shower head in the ensuite master was very much broken. It looked like whomever broke it placed the head back on the holder to make it look like it was in tact. When we turned on the shower, the head came off and sprayed us because it was broken. So we just had 1 shower to shower for all 7 of us when we expected two. We have elderly parents and instead of the walk-in private shower, they had to use our shower. For dinner, there were two matters that damped our stay. The living room back-door was broken so we couldn't get easy access to the backyard to bring food or to enjoy the outdoor weather. We had no issues opening the backdoor in the bedroom, so we knew this other one was broken. Ryan said it had worked for the cleaners. I've included a photo showing the broken handle. The other issue was all the scratched up, non-stick pots. We had already picked up groceries on the way to the house so we had to use the pots to not waste our groceries. Otherwise, if we had seen the pots, we would have ordered out. We've attached a photo to help you make that decision yourself. And finally, when we got home after a long day, the fire alarms in the whole house started screeching - no fires or smoke. This caused a problem, like scaring kids in the bathroom. We called Ryan and he told us to take out the batteries. He did offer to come back to help with the alarm - luckily a few of us are able bodied to climb on a chair to get it.

Beautiful location, lovely views. The outside terrace as lovely and we got to use the bbq. Comfortable beds and warm showers

The TV remote was a bit temperamental so a bit hit and miss trying to get to the channel we wanted to watch

The property is in a beautiful location with amazing views and is close to town. My children enjoyed playing on the swing set.

The owner was not friendly and rude to deal with. The check in instructions were not made available on the app and when I sent a friendly message to request I was asked if I had downloaded the app “per the instructions.” The coffee maker did not have the necessary parts to function and I was told to check the cabinets. I had already done this. No follow up from him and instead we wasted money on the pods and still had to go back out to the grocery. The owner was extremely rude through his texts and made our stay uncomfortable. The property could use a deep clean and the furnishings are very worn and require replacement. Even the pillows were flat and worn which is gross. It’s such a shame because the location and views from this property are beautiful but the interior and owner communication lacking.

The place was clean, had beautiful views and comfortable fit my family. Location was also great being outside the hustle and bustle yet close enough to get there with a short drive. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

I didn't realize that WiFi wasn't available and my cell coverage only worked certain times so if I needed to work while on holiday I'd think twice before staying here. There was also no shampoo, conditioner or body wash available. Finally, there was a substantial cleaning fee included yet the hosts asks you to clean before you leave.
