The scenery from the cottage is unreal. Nestled under Slieve Foye you have an unspoiled view over the entirety of Carlingford Lough and the Western Mournes. Weather was sunny when there, which just applified the view. The cottage itself was brilliant. Great big communal living space and all the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Location wise you are a short 5min drive into the bustling Carlingford with its many pubs and restaurants. An added bonus to the cottage was the massive kids play frame tucked into 1 corner of the massive garden. We had a 3 year old with us and she spent hours having a ball on it. Excellent place if looking somewhere to stay in the Cooley Peninsula.

Nothing drastic. Outdoor space unreal. Just would have been useful to have an extrinsic heat source to use outside later at night such as a firepit

Beautiful views from the propertly. Very good location to the town. Comfortable rooms and beautiful decor. We were so lucky with the weather that we could use the outdoor space. Highly recommend this property.

The only thing and this is clutching at straws and didn't hinder the trip what so ever, but the shower room became rather slippy and dangerous after a few people showered, even after wiping the water away.

Spacious, well presented and clean. House was modern and had everything we needed for the stay. Local taxi service made accessing Carlingford easy and affordable. Would highly recommend and will book again in the future.

A bit further out of Carlingford but there was a taxi service so not a deal breaker.

The views from the cottage were beautiful. The garden suited our family as there are lots of outdoor seating space so we could sit and eat outside. . Large open plan kitchen which was clean and well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. Close to the Greenway and Carlingford. We had a lovely stay

Some of the play equipment would need attention some bits were broken and in need of repair or replacement
