The Village House

Wonderful and beautifully decorated apartment. Super comfy. We also so appreciated the dishwasher so that we could just load it wash while we were out.

The location could not have been better. Close to bus and dart station and pubs and restaurants around the corner.

What a beautiful house. From the decor to the location, comfort and amenities… nothing to fault it at all. Absolutely perfect!

The on street parking can be an issue but this is true to the whole area of malahide. Unless you need a car for further travelling, you won’t need one to stay in malahide as beside the train station and everything is almost literally on your doorstep!

Location was great and very easy to find from the station. Interior has been very well thought out and was perfect for our get away. Was really nice to sit out in the courtyard for dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay. Local shops and bars are literally moments away and a great scenic walk along the beach.

Did need to top the toilet paper and get some washing up liquid (don't always need to use the dishwasher) and could have done with a bread knife but these are just tiny issues which we were happy to get. House was really lovely and had pretty much all the basic needs in a home.

The decor was lovely and the location was good.

No instructions of how to operate appliances, no instructions for separating garbage, the instructions for gaining access were only sent 24 hours before, we were traveling, did not always have Wi-Fi, so we only got them once we entered the house and accessed the Wi-Fi. As a result, when we arrived, all we had was the address and a phone number. After a bit, the owner did return our call, so we were able to get in. Warning: no shampoo, no soap, not even dish detergent ( although laundry detergent was supplied).

Great location, facilities, comfortable beds. Attentive host. lovely decor

would prefer carpet on the stairs as kids going to the loo at night woke us up. also a curtain that covers the back door completely

Perfect location, very clean and warm property. Excellent communication answering our questions and requests very quickly.

The apartment is great for a short or long stay, surrounded by nice restaurants and some authentic shops (butcher, fishshop, up level supermarket) and a few minutes walk from the seafront. Very quiet during the night and just a 25min train ride from Dublin city.

Absolutely nothing to complain. Great stay.
