Lavender Cottage - 2 Bedroom Home

A perfect property for a family or two couples to stay. I was there for the irish Derby (5 nights stay) and it was perfect for that purpose. If I ahd a rental car as opposed to using a hit and miss taxi service it would be 15/10

The address of the cottage could have been clearer. It seems in Ireland coordinates are used for logging a destination into Google maps but we were told to go to Walshestown which doesn't land you at the right property let alone when calling for a cab. There is some confusion on Booking.com as to the bedrooms etc. Let's change it to read "2 bedrooms each with an ensuite as well as a pull out bed in the lounge"

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful home with everything you need! Exceptionally clean too!! Super friendly and helpful owners! They made sure we had everything we needed for my 1 year old Grandson too!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family! We are already booked for another visit!!!

Absolutely nothing bad to say! The Lavender Cottage is quite literally a perfect place to stay!!

I would happilly live here ;) Such a beautiful home inside and out .Had everything you needed ..was great that both bedrooms had there own bathroom/showers ..loved it ..

Nothing in particular ..BUT just a suggestion that maybe a patio / sitting area in the front garden for the evening time would be good ..

Well, it's a one level house so no stairs - perfect when one travels with the lively 3-year old. The house has got everything one may need, coffee express, washing machine, industrial grade dryer, etc, etc. The internet is very fast and reliable.

When we arrived there was an issue with the boiler but it was sorted out by the hosts in the first hour of our stay so no biggie. One may also not enjoy fully the area - just nothing exceptional but it was perfect for what we needed (close enough to Dublin to be able to visit daily but not in the very heart of the city)

Location was good and central. Easy to access the highway and neighbouring cities. At the same time quiet and peaceful.

Nothing but good things to say about our stay in Lavender Cottage. the cottage was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. the hosts we absolutely amazing and such nice people it felt like a home away from home. the shower was amazing and we had hot water running through. it’s close to the shops and the station so easy to get in to Dublin but also away from the hustle and bustle. can’t wait to visit Ireland again and hopefully if not booked stay in Lavender cottage again. thank you for such a memorable stay.

Everything was perfect for us

Modern building and very cosy. Nice, quiet location.

Bed was a bit soft and rolled away, when getting in. Street light came through the holes on the blinds. We had problem with the hot water, but the owner was very helpful and responded quickly.

couldn’t get electric shower to work but we had the other one which was perfect
