St Martins Old Schoolhouse Ballyroe Tralee

Great property and offers amazing value for money. The check-in process was quite smooth and all amenities were available for a nice stay.

There was just one toilet in a 4 bedroom property that accommodates Eight people.

Excellent view of Kerry mountains, just a short distance from shops ie Tralee, all the equipment in the kitchen you need. Lovely comfortable double beds in every room. Thank you Catherine 🤗

Oven and grill could do with a bit of a clean otherwise fantastic facilities

Wasn’t clean and no garden for kids to play out.

There was plenty of room, good table for breakfast, heating was on, a lovely touch as even though it was the summer, it was cold. Easy to find, keys were easy to access. Host had lots of info on the area and followed up to ensure we arrived safe.

The pillows were flat, looked like they have had their day. All of us agreed we like to have a fresh pillow, white case with no textures and prefer white bedding, gives an extra level of confidence in the cleanliness and freshness.

Catherine met us upon arrival. She is a warm, welcoming, genuinely gracious lady. Immediately, we all felt good about our choice of accommodation. Despite the incessant rain, we could see Slieve Mish encased in a pillow of fog and smell the tang of salt in the air, carried inland from the nearby Atlantic sea.

It was perfect, surpassing all expectations. I give the house and the location my highest recommendation.

Good location

House was cold and thermostat was on a timer that was locked away. When contacted, the owner thought radiators had been turned off but that was not the case and heat did not come on during our stay.
