"Just Perfect!"

Situated a few minutes walk away from Donegal town, Tirchonaill Townhouse is a beautiful house with a very welcoming feel to it. It had everything that we needed and more! The house was spacious and although it looks small from the outside it most definitely isn't. The place was spotless. An Added bonus was a downstairs toilet. Beds were super comfy and the shower was great. It also has a coffee machine (uses Tassimo pods) and a cafetiere for coffee lovers, not forgetting tea lovers with a selection of tea blends. One day the weather was poor so two of us stayed in. There are plenty of books to choose from, a few games and with a smart TV you will not be short of finding something to do. We honestly didn't want to leave which is a good thing. Many thanks to Joy who is a fantastic host and was very helpful throughout. We look forward to returning very soon.

"Perfect place for our Donegal trip"

House was perfect for our stay in Donegal for a wedding at Lough Eske Castle which is only 10 mins drive away. House was very spacious and homely, nice comfy beds and had everything we needed. The host, Joy, was amazing, she kept in touch with us the whole time and was so helpful. The house is right in Donegal Town so a few minutes walk to the shops and pubs 😊

Lots of space, great communication from the owners, great location near the castle and town square.

The downstairs toilet doesn't have a light. The towels are really thin and could do with replacing. I found the bed hard and not having the bedside cabinet next to the bed was somewhat inconvenient, though I realise it was because the room is small.

Lovely house with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. Fantastic location and great communication from owner, we were made to feel very welcome and will definitely stay again.

There is plenty of room, a magnificent gas Range for cooking on, alot easier than electric cookers. Warm and comfy accomodation. And the owner Joy, left milk , biscuits and other items to start us off, after our journey, even tinned dog food, for our Tilly. Who does that for guests. It is only five minutes walk into the town centre, where there is several pet friendly bars.
