Twin Cave House

Adorable house in the Oia area- just steps away from amazing view over the city and sea. Host very gracious and welcoming. Met us on arrival to walk us to the property and give us tips on local activities, restaurants etc. extremely clean and well kept. Housekeeping comes daily House stocked with a couple waters, jams, teas and coffees. Adorable house in amazing location

A little high priced in comparison to surrounding houses- but attention to detail and hospital is top notch

Amazing location! Great property for families with a private bedroom dor adults and a separte room room for kids. Exellent service as well - daily cleaning and seemless chick-in and check-out. We loved it.

It was perfect.

It was a very unique experience to stay in a cave house, one we will remember for years to come. The house was very comfortable, and it felt like our own little home away from home. The location is not reachable by car. You have to take a taxi and then walk the rest of the way from the drop off point (a few blocks), which wasn't a problem, but it was a little confusing while I was planning the trip until I understood the layout of the city and the fact that the cave houses don't actually have addresses. Check in was very easy, and our host and her mother were great! They even helped us arrange an early morning taxi from the drop off point to the ferry dock. Some of the locals use donkeys for transportation, and it was really fun to see a donkey going up the stairs as we rounded the corner!

There was a little confusion about catching the taxi on the morning we left. We were told that a porter would come to the cave house and escort us to the taxi, but he didn't come. Because it was early morning, we couldn't get in touch with anyone, so we just walked to the drop off point to catch the taxi. It was not a problem, as the taxi arrived shortly after we did, but it was just a little confusing.

Attention from property management

Distance from parking to property. However that is just the way it is. Great town. There was an emergency light charging in the master bed. The light that comes from it is very bright an annoying if you like dark rooms.

Excellent location, great service, lovely house

Our stay at Twin Caves was nothing short of amazing! The location is right in the heartbeat of Oia with spectacular views and convenient to walk to dinner and shopping. Christine was friendly, inviting, and helpful. She was quick to answer our questions and lead us in the right direction on the most delicious places to eat. Having a luggage carrier was essential too. We only wish we would have been able to stay longer than 3 days. Can’t wait to return!

Alexandra the host organised the airport transfer plus porter of luggages to the Twin Cave House. It was invaluable. The place is in excellent location and kept cool even on very hot days. Highly recommended.
