"Great location as a base to visit York."

The property was in a great location. The host was amazing. Superb instructions for how to locate the property and incredibly quick to resolve a small issue we had. The beds are a double bed and a single bed in one room. There were extra blankets included in case of cold. The lounge/kitchen/dining area was cosy. The table wouldn't have fitted 3 people, but we didn't eat here so that wasn't an issue.

I would have liked a "Guest Information" book with instructions for how to use things, like the heating, etc... and good places to visit in the area. Maybe some takeaway contacts and local restaurants... We did work it out, but would have appreciated this little extra touch.The photos included are slightly misleading and suggest there's an upstairs to the property. This is not the case. The photos probably are of the upstairs but it is a separate residence. The WiFi was very slow.

The property was very clean, it was equipped with everything you needed and more. There was a book with all information you needed, from supermarkets to taxi numbers.

There was nothing to dislike about the property

The access to the sauna was great, great gas job in the kitchen

The living room didn’t have space for everyone to sit, one of the bathrooms was less homely

Close to York. Good use of space there was even a washing machine. Bathroom and kitchen were clean.

Had to dust some areas in the bedroom. It would be nice to have a small light and side table by the single bed. Some TLC is needed in some areas.

"Last minute booking after being let down elsewhere, perfect family friendly property."

Great location close to both Harrogate and York, village was lovely and peaceful with a great play park 5 minute walk from property for my two young children. House was lovely and clean with everything you need already at the property on arrival. Very family friendly property, lovely little touches like toys available, books etc for the kids made it feel like a home.

No complaints, was a lovely stay and we’ll be back.

"Convenient, tranquil and cosy"

This was a very last minute booking. I was met on arrival and warmly welcomed. Great to be able to park on site too. Very cosy stay. Lovely fresh ingredients for dinner from the local shop. Would certainly stay again.
