Joan's airport apartment

Dia was SO helpful both before the trip and during our stay. She helped with paperwork for visas and booking us a taxi to her apartment. She provided so much extra information for us. When we arrived she invited us to join her family’s party. We felt so welcome!

It was further away from the airport than I thought, about 25 minutes by taxi.

Joan, our hostess was so welcoming & kind. She helped arrange evening snacks for us along with breakfast for our early morning flight without even us asking. The room itself is homely & comfortable with all the required amenities. It's also comfortably located at a 10 min drive from the airport. Suggest to have a rental vehicle handy as the closest public transportation option is a bit far away.

I read all the great reviews about this place and chose it because of them. Yes, this place is dated, but it was so comfortable, and we felt like we were visiting our grandmother's (Yiayia's) place because Joan was so absolutely warm and welcoming! She was waiting outside when our taxi pulled up and greeted us warmly and took us inside and showed us around. She had our breakfast laid out for us, and had made us sandwiches and had house wine, water, milk, orange juice in the fridge. She had coffee, tea, and cereal on the counter. She showed us the garden and told us about some of the shops and restaurants nearby. She also ordered our taxi for us to the airport and was there to send us off. Everything was clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend this place!

Joan was very welcoming. We needed an overnight stay close to the airport. She left us food and some house wine in the fridge which was lovely. Very quiet perfect for what we needed. Restaurant and supermarket close by. Taxi was arranged to and from the airport, all too easy.

Joan was just lovely! She had stocked the room with some fruit, chocolate croissants, house wine, sandwiches, tomatoes and coffee. We arrived late in the night but she helped arrange rides to/from the airport and her home is lovely, beautiful garden. Wish we had time to stay longer than one night. Highly recommend!!

very kind host, accomodating and welcoming. Spacious room, excellent breakfast and all facilities. Very close to the airport as well. Highly recommended for all short stayings near the airport.
