I visited Bari for a short week holiday with my mum. The location is perfectly situated in the historic centre of Bari, on a walking distance from the station (15min). It's clean, quiet and super comfortable for the hot summer days there. We had everything we needed, to relax after exploring the city and the surrounding places.

We had the most fantastic stay at this wonderful apartment in the heart of Bari, and it was all thanks to our exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home, and they were always available to assist us with any questions or needs we had throughout our stay. The apartment itself was simply delightful. Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. But perhaps the best part of our stay was the apartment's unbeatable location. Nestled right in the heart of Bari's historic center, we were just steps away from all the city's major attractions, charming cafes, and bustling markets. Being able to explore the city on foot and soak in its vibrant atmosphere was an experience we'll never forget. In conclusion, we can't recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone visiting Bari. The combination of exceptional host quality and a central location makes it the perfect choice for a memorable stay in this beautiful city. Grazie mille!

If you want to have a true Bari experience, this is the place to be. I would go back at any time! The apartment is super cute, very clean and the location couldn’t be more perfect. It’s comfortable and even the chair bed is good to sleep on, I slept on it for 7 nights with no issues. There is aircon, fridge, cooking facilities, free toiletries, plenty of towels, plus the host gives you great tips for exploring the town. Location is the best you can find, we absolutely loved it. You’re literally in the middle of the old town Bari Vecchia, in front of castle, and on the same street where the nonnas make orecchiette in front of their houses. It’s gorgeous and a true Bari experience, you open the apartment’s door and there you have it: Bari at its best on your doorstep. There’s a popular pizza place in the piazza Albicocca next to you and plenty of restaurants, I also recommend the panzerotti by the castle. You’re also a short walk from Murat, where you find the main boulevard with shops and restaurants, and a 10-15 mins walk from the train station if you are visiting other towns by train. As for Mauro, the host, I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done. He reached out as soon as I booked, and communication was great from start, even though he doesn’t speak English (translator goes a long way!). He waited for us there when we arrived, there were free cold drinks in the flat and he made us feel very welcomed. Unfortunately we had an accident, my elderly mum ended up breaking her foot halfway through the trip in Matera (careful if you go there!) and if it wasn’t for Mauro we would have had to shorten our trip. I was completely lost having to sort everything in Italian by myself so I cannot measure how helpful he was. He went above and beyond to help us and managed to secure a wheelchair and crutches for her, as otherwise we wouldn’t be able to leave the flat as no cars can drive through the street and she couldn’t walk.

There’s nothing I dislike, just note the tips above.

Location was great, one room but large space, updated. There is small kitchen so we were able to eat at our place a few nights. Really great pizza place just steps from the unit!

These are not complaints from me but information for those reading this review: Parking was a ten minute walk but we did find a spot closer to load snd unload our car. There is one window and that is same as the door so the room is darker. The unit could be noisy and lots of tourists and tours walking by along with mopeds This is expected when you stay on ground floor in old town.

An extremely pleasant place to stay in Bari. Top location in the old town. Cozy and clean. Mauro is the kindest host. :) We are glad we found this place. We will be back again.

Excellent location & very nice host.

Mauro kept in touch with us throughout our journey and met us at the door. He stayed in touch and provided fresh towels half way through our stay. He gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and how to get there. He was very flexible about timings the day we left, which was really helpful. The flat is wonderfully situated in the old town, on one of the streets where pasta is made by hand and sold from people's front rooms, but close enough for convenience to the station and shopping areas in the new town.

A very small point was that we were not entirely clear about getting rid of household rubbish because of the restricted times for collection. Mauro did try to explain it to us but it took us until the penultimate day to work it out. Perhaps Mauro could provide a written explanation as well?

The location is not less than perfect. In the old city, but quiet. The facilities are in excelent condition. The host is so kind and helpful

The pillows are too soft, but this is my preference

Breakfast was not excluded but there were fruits, water, champagne, coffee, tea etc
