"Authentic Greek houses in the green valley of Karavas."

My family and I had a wonderful holiday! The authentic houses are clean, comfortable and fully equipped. They are located in a beautiful spot in the Karavas valley and offer privacy and tranquility. A little zen paradise! You can cook yourself or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the nearby restaurants. You can get bread, good, fresh coffee and cookies nearby at the bakery. Via a path down you will be in cooling nature with running water, fruit trees and flowers within a few minutes. There is much to discover on the island of Kythira. From the most beautiful beaches, hiking trails and waterfalls to abandoned ruins and old, lively villages. What makes the island special is that you will find the original Greek way of life there because it is still relatively unknown to many foreign tourists. The people are very friendly and hospitable. In short: we enjoyed it immensely and would love to come back!

Be aware that there is a slope down to get to the houses, but with a good rental car, maybe a 4 wheel drive is not a big deal.
