Fantastic, traditional apartment in heart of walled city of Monemvasia. The apartment is spacious, had a well equipped kitchen and a very nice terrace overlooking the water. Very short walk to front gate of town makes for easy arrival. Host is very friendly and attentive.

This is an ideal place to stay in the old castle town. Since cars are not allowed inside the gate, you have to walk to your lodging carrying your luggage. The fact it is the 3rd house from the gate makes it so much easier to get to. It is also in an area with most activities, particularly in the evening. The house itself is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. It is converted from an old Byzantine era church which just adds a lot of historical charm. You can still see fragments of old church paintings on the wall. The patio in the back provides a great sea view. The actual house looks even better than what you see in the pictures. The host is super nice and helpful as well. She waited for us at the gate and helped us with luggage and provided a lot of information as well. Monenvasia is a magical place.
