Perfect location and well equipped.

Size and arrangement of furniture made it quite congested even for two people.

Cottage was lovely and clean, and very comfortable. The garden was a surprise, and the views were exceptional.

Das kleine Cottage Wrynose liegt am Ende des Reihenhauses, zum Parkplatz hin. Es liegt bilderbuchmäßig am Ende des kleinen Dörfchens, zwischen dem Pub und der malerischen Mühle. Es ist klein, aber für 2 Personen zweckmäßig eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der große Luxus ist die Lage: Es beginnen sofort ab dem Cottage wunderbare Wanderwege und der Weg vom Pub zurück schafft man auch auf den Knien.

Die Tür des Cottage schließt nicht richtig, man muss sie abschließen, da sie sonst der Wind aufdrücken kann. Aber alles gut, es gibt nix zu bemängeln.

Fantastic property located in a beautiful area near the trails. We are a group of 24 hikers and stayed in 3 of the 4-bedroom cottages. As we prefer to have separate duvets for the double beds, Greg went the extra mile to purchase extra duvets to meet our needs. The property also has a shared laundry room. The cottages has full kitchen facilities which is useful for self-catering. Living and dining areas are also large and can fit 8 people without feeling cramped. The bathrooms are new and in great condition too! Highly recommended for family and friends!

Access via a key safe is perfect as our 6 hour join took 9hrs so we didn't arrive at the time we thought we would!! The cottage was cozy and well equipped. The sky stream service was an added bonus after a long day of walking no end of options to view. Fibre broadband was fast and considering that phone signal was limited everywhere to some or none this was great. The character of the property and the cobbled stone driveway along with the sound of the brook was so very peaceful. The proximity to the Boot Inn was a joy being able to sit out in the sun and have great food in the evening. It was fully booked on our first night but luckily we got in on the second and weren't disappointed.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Purely personal preference but the bed was a little hard for us. Fine for two nights but no more. Lots of coffee pods but no coffee machine as advertised. A different chopping board would be good as glass isn't great to chop on.

The area and surroundings

The stay did not meet expectations. The cottage had no windows, was very small, and without a fan or AC it became uncomfortably hot, making it very difficult for us to sleep. The “private” garden was actually shared with other cottages, which felt misleading. Check‑in was also problematic because the key code was never sent, and we only gained access after the local pub helped us contact the managers. We had originally booked four nights, but we felt so uncomfortable inside the cottage that we left after two nights and booked another place. Better communication and accurate listing details are definitely needed.
