It’s well situated, with a stunning view of Hythe and the sea. It’s very close to the Eurotunnel, which was very convenient for us.

The sheets were washed with a fabric conditioner that had a strong smell like men’s aftershave. The duvet for the sofabed downstairs was stored in a box and had a musty smell, which when mixed with the aftershave-like smell of the fabric conditioner was nasty. We ended up using a sleeping bag and a blanket that we luckily had brought in the car. We were only staying for one night so it wasn’t such a big deal - but nonetheless it was not great.

Great location and lovely place to stay

Bed was a bit soft for us but I think that’s personal preference. Also the drive / road to the house is very steep.

Light and cheerful space with great view of the sea.

A few basic tea bags would have been helpful (we forgot as our stay just one night). Plus we brought coffee for a cafetière and there wasn’t one - might be easier for people than the coffee machine which was provided?

Great location for Le Shuttle. Lovely home, beautifully decorated and immaculately presented. There is a little garden which was perfect for our dogs.

Nothing! Shower water was a little on the cool side, but it wasn’t an issue.
