Could have maybe had a downstairs toilet in the big cupboard in the lounge

Lovely property, very clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment etc. Very comfortable bed.

Staff mentioned that farm cottage 3 was renovated a couple of years ago and you could tell. Really nice decor and relaxing environment. Plenty of amenities which appeared to differ from some of the other Melfort accommodation, judging by the app/welcome pack. We had a big fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine - which was great for us with two young kids. Good quality baby gates and cot. Everything was really clean, bathrooms/showers were great and living room was spacious and comfortable. The log burner was a nice touch. There's also an app you can download which is generally great, and the first time I've seen that, however...

In terms of constructive feedback, we felt the welcome pack and app were a bit generic at times and could have 'sold' farm cottage more. There was mention of paying for electricity and using a communal launderette etc. We feel like these could have been a bit more specific, including instructions on how to work the heating and WiFi/router (internet knocked off night one and we couldn't find the router, which turned out to be attached to the ceiling upstairs!). We stayed in winter and walked a couple of times at nighttime to the reception/restaurant/pool and back, and it was literally pitch black, with no form of lighting whatsoever. I totally understand there'll be logistical restrictions with the location but surely must be something that could be put in to lighten the path.

Beautiful location by the water, the cottage was stunning! Full of rustic charm, very well equipped and the bathrooms were a delight with the under floor heating, so many little surprises waiting to be found! Would highly recommend to any potential visitor, the on site swimming pool, sauna and hot tub absolutely amazing as is the restaurant, amazing food and the staff a credit to this! Will definitely be back 😍

Everything was just right! Loved the clean, bright , warm cosy accommodation. Attention to detail was amazing.

No washing machine. But no big deal as only there for three nights. The restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday we had to go in to Oban which felt a bit of a trek.

Melfort cottage had everything that I needed. The wood burner was so cozy. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of lovely walks

It would be handy if the shop sold supplies such as milk etc in addition to gifts.
