"Lovely house in a fairytale location."

Location location location!! As all other reviewers said this house is located literally on top of a waterfall in the lovely village is Rastoke. The host is very responsive and helpful, and his mother in law brought over pancakes on our first morning there.

Easy to find. Property provided parking pass. Property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Rastoke is such a cute village and we felt privileged to stay there. The house over the waterfall is so unique and quaint. The mother-in-law made us pancakes with jelly and they were delicious. It was a very kind gesture. I love how the locals do everything they can to keep the area preserved.

There is a musty odor upon arrival but you get used to it and it was ok for us after a few minutes. I imagine with it being on top of a waterfall it is difficult to control. We missed having coffee at the apartment but there are several coffee options a minute walk away.

The location is unbelievably good and perched on top of a waterfall. The host only speaks Croatian but brought across pancakes for breakfast.

Sleeping on top of a waterfall. Very soothing. The host brought us pancakes for breakfast.
