Close to Westport and achill.house was big enough for party of five.

The room with the bath, shower not working

The corner house was perfect for our stay, comfortable, and everything you need was there, exceptionally clean , mary, our host, was there to welcome us. Would definitely recommend it for anyone travelling west , and we would go back again. People are very friendly in this beautiful scenic town.

Perfect location, great base for exploring Mayo. Newport itself is lovely with a playground across the road from the corner house that the kids loved to visit each evening and plenty of walking routes and the greenway on the doorstep. Lovely welcome from the hosts and the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with the local shop conveniently next door. All in all a perfect stay.

We traveled as a family to the area, to see relatives. This was a perfect spot allowing easy access to Newport but also allowing family to visit us. Looking forward to bringing the grandkids here one day. Plenty of room. Small supermarket next door.

The location was great for our needs visiting Burrishoole, achill and Westport. Mary was a lovely host.

We had a bit of difficulty understanding the heating and the house for very warm, not helped by the hot weather. But it was not a bad problem to have…we just switched it all off!
