Very nice, cozy house!

secluded, relaxing, loads of wood / turf / coal left which was very generous.

cleanliness could be better, showers weren’t clean for eg. & one blocked.

Carraun Cottage is absolutely beautiful! Simply furnished but supplies all the essential comforts in a beautiful part of the country.

Perfect location, quiet place! Large backyard ( great for pets) House is cosy, warm, comfortable. Everything you need is in the house. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic place, tucked away in the Leitrim countryside. The cottage is a classic Irish cottage lovingly restored and modernised. It was sparkling clean and very well insulated. The beds were really comfortable. You can find everything you need in the kitchen and more. The place is perfect for digital detox. My teenage sons had to chat with us and we played cards and board games in the evenings, something we haven't done for ages. Conor is a great, communicative host. Perhaps, a map of the area and sights would come useful if there was one in the house, since there is no Internet or phone reception, but it is not a negative at all, just well-meaning advice. Anyway, thank so much Conor and family! We are hoping to be back again, we loved it so much.

The cottage was warm on arrival the fire was set just had to light it, its a lovely place to stay the beds were so comfy I loved everything about this cottage it was spot on and not too far from Manorhamilton if you needed shops.I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away for a break. We visited Seàn mcDiarmaids house and the tour guide was there he was amazing and so informative best tour we ever had. It's worth a visit Conor and his dad were very helpful and brought us a delicious apple cake it was so nice of them. Would definitely go back again.
