Toddys Cottage & Stables

The location is extremely peaceful and relaxing, but it's also a 5 minute drive to the local village. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has all the mod cons you need.The host Aishling is very helpful, and on call 24/7 if need the need to contact her.

There's nothing about the location or the cottage that I didn't like.

Our host Aishling,left Welcome Gift Package of fresh brown bread, fresh milk, biscuits ,jam and fresh eggs out for our use on arrival. Kitchen utensils were excellent and spotless. All mod cons provided in a beautifully arranged decorative kitchen. Our bright kitchen was an oasis of calm set in soothing colours.

We were happy with everything our host provided and would not change a solitary item. Bhí an teach go h-iontach. Tiocfaimid ar ais arís le cúnamh Dé.

Welcome Pack was a nice touch. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away.

Fantastic little house with a fantastic host. We had stables booked to which had already been bedded and some hay for our horses on arrival. The cottage couldn't of been better set up. Even had some bread, eggs and milk. Just what we needed after a long journey from Donegal. The beds are very comfy and the house was super clean. We were competing at cavan equestrian centre which was only a 17min drive with a trailer. Can't recommend enough. We will be hoping to return next year.

There's nothing not to like.

Aishling was so welcoming and had the cottage spotless with bits left for breakfast which was really appreciated. The cottage is really lovely and beautifully furnished it was a really enjoyable stay for us. Aishling couldn’t have been more helpful we would love to stay again if we are back in Cavan!

Modern, cosy and beautifully designed interior with lots of thoughtful touches, including games, cosy blankets, logs for the wood-burning fire. Welcome pack with essentials for breakfast. Well-kept gardens with outdoor seating. We had a lovely breakfast at Tilly's Tea Rooms, Ballinagh, 5 minutes drive away

Only thing missing for us was wardrobe space but otherwise a good use of a small space.

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet area. The kitchen was fully furnished, and the owners left us all the essentials (milk, eggs, biscuits, bread,…). They checked up on us and were very kind.
