Wild Wild West Holiday Cottages

Chris and Steph were amazing hosts! They left bread, homemade scones & jelly, and honey from their hives for us in the kitchen, and there was a small homemade soap for each guest. The cottage was comfortable, with great beds and lots of hot water, and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals there. Chris showed us around the farm on our last morning while he fed the animals, and we bought a few soaps from Steph before we left. They're delightful people who clearly love sharing their farm with others. There was a big storm one of the days we were there and we were cozy and happy spending time in the house, which is stocked with board games. The location was great for exploring the Beara Peninsula, which is stunning. We visited with friends who were visiting from America and we had plenty of space— this would be a great stay for families or groups of friends. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

The welcome pack. Was very unexpected. Very gracious hosts. The best equipped cottage we have stayed in Immaculately presented. Location. Farm setting a pleasant difference to other places we have stayed at Extremely comfortable. This is the perfect place to stay while travelling around Beara Peninsula. Would have loved to stay longer

I loved everything about this place. The location was amazing. The views were sublime, also the llamas on the grounds stole my heart. The house was quiet simply stunning. It was spotless and so beautifully decorated. Chris and Steph really though of everything there was even a craft box, books and colours for my kids. Then the welcome pack they provided was unreal. The home made bread was unreal, eggs and homemade jam and honey. They were amazing! Steph even had some milk in the fridge for us which was a godsend after a six hour drive.

The only part about the property I didn’t like was having to leave.

This is such a lovely place! Great situation, lovely hosts, really comfortable with loads of little extras that take it above and beyond expectations.

Nothing - really perfect!

The view, the amazing house, unparalleled hospitality, the Al Pacas, the farm animals, the delicious home baked goods, the homemade honey and the most amazing scented handmade soap. It’s a total escape from the outside world.

Absolutely nothing

Great attention to detail, lots of special touches from board games to the three friendly alpacas. The hosts provided a lovely food parcel when we arrived with their own produce which included honey, eggs and tomatoes.

Nothing to add here as the property was perfect

Fantastic elevated location within easy reach of nearby Castletown and the Ring of Beara, the property was spotless & fully equipped making it very comfortable for us travelling with 2 x two year olds.
