"Great stay but avoid if you want some relaxing time"

8.0

The house was lovely, and it had everything you needed. The location was even better, very central and just behind the fish market. I really enjoyed our stay in this house and I would 100% recommend it.

A few things: - No microwave. Something needed if you travel with babies/toddlers - Freezer door was broken, so all our food was half frozen everyday - Hoover didn't work. Something you need to use after being on the beach, as it's very sandy. - No baby gate in the middle floor. We traveled with our toddler and this was something that we've really missed. - No parking, but there is a long stay car park for only £26/week. - Neighbours are awful. We've got someone slapping the door of our neighbour at 4 am and our daughter woke up. Also, the walls are paper so you could hear them fighting really loud. - The house is at the back of a pub with live music. Something you have to avoid if you want some quiet time.

Lovely little fisherman’s cottage right on the quay so a great location. The property was immaculate. I would suggest including the real basics such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc…as literally nothing there at all. Master bed is very small so ended up sleeping in one of the bunk beds as it was too small for both of us. Also, the property does back onto a pub who had very loud music one night, but wasn’t an issue for us. Overall a very good stay.

"Absolutely fantastic, just what we all needed to start 2026 with ❤️"

Excellent location to everything, fantastic self catering facilities including the air fryer , lovely and clean, a home from home. Communication from the host, Andy was 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended and 100% we will be back.

Nothing at all wrong. Although no parking, the carpark (which was within in a 2 minute walk) was only £16 for 24 hours, which we thought was a brilliant cost

"Perfect location with lots of nautical features throughout"

10.0

Perfect location and the car park is only across the way , only minutes from everything . The beds were super comfy , the living space is smaller than I thought but that’s not a slight on the property - we had 2 kids and all their bits with us . We recommend this property and will return .

"Nice few days here.Lovely cottage in a great central location, let down by issues already mentioned."

7.0

Gorgeous little cottage. Decorated beautifully throughout. Great central location.

Poor parking options - we had to park in the long stay car park and haul all of our luggage, beach gear etc through the town to the cottage. Courtyard in front of property was dirty, rubbish strewn around, full of other people’s cars and wheelie bins. Shower door fell off every time it was opened. Drain flooded at front of property every time sinks in bathroom or kitchen were used. No facilities for recycling. Dog food pellets in shaggy front room carpet.
