The house was beautiful, lovely location! Fab host and lovely hamper on arrival

The oven took a while to heat up

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The location was great, and the place itself was cosy and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the downstairs bath and the charming extension filled with fun board games and thoughtful extras. Communication was excellent throughout, and there were plenty of towels provided, which was a nice touch

We were slightly disappointed that the oven wasn’t working, though fortunately there was an air fryer available which helped and the host was available to try and assist. There were quite a few cobwebs around, and some of the outdoor areas could use a bit of TLC to bring them up to the same standard as the rest of the cottage

The cottage is fantastic. Very spacious and very well equipped. Lots of room for families. The setting is just perfect.

Only a little thing - bath mat needed for upstairs bath/shower as it was very slippy.

Really convenient for Alton Towers, great place to stay

Cottage was great and in a lovely location. It had everything we needed for our weekend at Alton Towers. The host was very responsive to a problem we incurred and fixed the issue straight away.

We had a small problem with the flush on the toilet (was broken), but it was fixed during our stay (although broke again, so that probably needs to be looked at for future guests comfort)

One of the mattresses a little uncomfortable in the smaller room. May need changing but didn’t stop us having a fantastic stay

Fantastically cozy cottage in a very serene environment. The host was very responsive and lovely. Comfortable, spacious and relaxed place to stay.

The rooms were not the cleanest, found used q tips in-between the floorboards and dried animal poop in the utility room.
