Orchard Cottage

The communication from the owner was excellent and the negotiated late arrival was appreciated. The cottage offers very comfortable accommodation in a superb country setting. A welcome gift of homemade bread, fruit pie, jam as well as other items was a great surprise and very generous. The beach is a short drive and it is wonderful.

Shirley and Paul are wonderfully thoughtful and friendly. Cottage is warm comfortable and spacious, home from home. Loved that they left us breakfast for our stay. The home made apple pie and brown bread was a hit. We will be back 😁 Cottage HAS Internet 💯

The weather

Beautiful cottage near an almost private beach. Really nice take away 5 minutes away in the local village and fabulous take away Pizza and Ice Cream in Bella Napoli in Kilmuckridge. Shirley was so helpful and the house was spotless. Really enjoyed the gorgeous apple sponge she left for us. Will definitely be back.

Lovely 2 bed cottage with orchard garden close to Blackwater village. Great spot for travelling around Wexford - Courtown, Curracloe, Wexford Town and beyond. The cottage was spotless and our host Ann was so accommodating. Loved the homemade bread, apple tart and jam on our arrival.

There is nothing not to like.

Excellent location, lovely comfortable home for the weekend. Welcoming host. Very close to beautiful beaches. Not too far from Wexford itself.

Everything was fantastic

Excellent experience 😃 On arrival, there was a freshly baked rhubarb tart and brown bread. The cottage is very comfortable and has all you need in it. The flowers and lights outside are beautiful in the evening. Also, there is access to a sitting area outside and a beautiful apple orchard next to the property. Also loved the visit from the family dog Sadie. The cottage is near local amenities with a short drive into Blacwater or Kilmuckridge and plenty of beaches. Also, other tourist attractions are around the area. We really enjoyed our stay at Orchard cottage. Paul greeted us on arrival and departure very friendly. We would highly recommend a visit to this property if you like site seeing. I will have a second visit here in another week or so, can't wait 😀
