Oor Neuk

Oor Neuk ist ein freistehendes Ferienhaus mit nur wenigen anderen Häusern in der Nachbarschaft, ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto von Portree entfernt. Wunderschön eingerichtetes, großzügiges und top ausgestattetes Haus. Vom großen Balkon hat man einen super Fernblick. Die Anreise-Informationen kamen pünktlich und waren sehr detailliert. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit den Vermietern und unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe durch eine Schlüsselbox am Haus. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Portree.

Casa splendida, grande, molto pulita e con ottime dotazioni per il soggiorno. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile, aveva preparato tutto al meglio. Si trova in una zona da cui si raggiungono facilmente le migliori attrazioni dell'isola. Consigliatissimo!

Awesome home. Great location as a home base to tour Skye. Fit family of 5 easy. Only recommendation would be more chairs on deck. View and location is incredible.

The location and the accommodations

It’s a very spacious property that has everything you could need. Lots of space, 3 bathrooms and a fantastic view! A kitchen that has all utensils + plenty of space to eat, rest or play games. The showers are excellent and spacious too.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

We really liked how spacious the house is — it was very comfortable for the six of us. The open-plan upper floor with the living room and kitchen felt huge, with plenty of seating and space to cook while still being part of the group. The kitchen is fully equipped, with two ovens, a large cooktop, lots of cookware and utensils, so cooking was a real pleasure. There were also various basics in the cupboards like tea, spices, and coffee — probably left by previous guests, which came in handy. The house was clean when we arrived, and the many windows let in lots of natural light. On warmer days it did get a bit hot, but that was a rare case. It’s in a peaceful area, so we enjoyed the quiet, and from the big balcony we could watch rabbits — and even deer from time to time.

The only downside was that the listing gave us the impression there were three bathrooms (in the sense of shower/ bath available), which would have been ideal for our group. In reality, there were two bathrooms and one separate toilet, which was a slight disappointment — but overall, we had a great stay regardless, so overall we say it's 10/10 :)
