Such an amazing location. Beautiful house spotlessly clean. The agents were so helpful too organising our parking permit etc. I would book this house for all my family again in a heartbeat.

The property is in a perfect location. It’s modern and still traditional with light airy rooms. The kitchen has all facilities needed with enough room for 8 guests. The owner was great with communication and the parking permit was a great help. The beds were comfy and the toilets and showers had great pressure and were very clean. The rooms all had towels and a locally sourced chocolate too! Lovely touch.

There needs to be more space to sit in the main living room for 8 guests. The sofas were slightly damaged also (the ties on each side that held the sides up). There was also a lot of dust and dirt under the sofas and in other areas that are slightly hidden, behind headboards etc. It would be better with a second permit for a car as a house with 8 guests will have more than one car. The shower in the en-suite was broken and you couldn’t turn the temperature down and the toilet didn’t flush every time. The garden space is great as well but the tree/bush in there does need to be cut back significantly as it blocked the sun and the seating area completley.

The house is beautiful. It is in an excellent location in the city centre, close to the Minster, shops and restaurants, and the river. We were able to walk everywhere easily. There was ample space for our family of 8, plus the dog. The street is quiet and parking was no problem. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.

The kitchen could be better equipped with more pans and dishes for a large family group who want to cook and eat together.

Had difficulty getting the key back into the safe! Had to put it through the letterbox but contacted them direct to let them know

Everything was great.We hit a wet weekend so the timed heating was out of sync .

The location of the property is amazing. You can walk to every attraction in York.

Storage - would of like a coat stand or something in the hallway

Didn’t use the basement lounge as there was a smell of dampness. The ground floor living room was cold and the couches quite uncomfortable. Dishwasher in the kitchen but no tablets - unusual not to have a couple of tablets left for a weekend stay.
