Nice property in an excellent location. Really clean and tidy.

Such a beautiful house with fabulous interior decor , extremely comfortable beds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake . 15 mins walk to the Shambles and similar to the railway station .. a great host to Thankyou Gregory

Nothing to dislike

Curtains did not completely block out light and had gaps round sides-but only an issue for some. Quite steep internal stairs.

We had a great stay at The Haven, clean and comfortable house with some thoughtful touches like miniature toiletries and bits in the kitchen. The house has everything you need, even had fans for the attic room when it got too warm in the gorgeous weather we had! Hot tub was a lovely addition to our stay and great communication with the owner. Really good location for exploring York, everything is walkable.

We'd still rate five stars overall but important couple of points to note: 1. The listing says it sleeps 10 across three bedrooms which includes a sofa bed. Whilst listed as a double, it is very much a single. We were lucky in a way one of our group couldn't join last minute, otherwise there would have been one of us sleeping on the sofa in the living room with makeshift bedding. The listing should be updated to say sleeps 9 adults. 2. The listing says check out 0800-1100hrs but when there, the guest book says 10am and we had cleaners turn up around 10am, despite having agreed a midday checkout with the owner. This should also be updated on the listing as 10am for standard check out. Owner was really accommodating though, hence the five stars still. 100% recommend a stay here and we hope to be back in the future!

Excellent location one minute walk from Bishy Rd nicest street in York and 2 minutes from the wall entrance that, if you walk it, takes you in 5-10 mins into town. So many nice eateries and shops on Bishy Rd. Rowantree Park is a 5 min walk and lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon/evening. Property is perfect. Highly recommend.

One small thing. The fridge and freezer weren’t that cold. Ok for us we ate out but it wouldn’t have kept things like milk cold. The fridge shelf had been damaged. Other than these minor things, superb.

Great location easy to get to the train station and York centre. Easy check in instructions and parking was a bonus! We booked this for my best friend’s hen do and it had plenty of space for everyone and the hot tub was fantastic. Lots of little extras like slippers and toothbrushes left on the beds too! Host was amazing and helped us arrange our stay around the activities we booked too!

The weather was beautifully sunny when we stayed and the top room does get warm but there was also a fan provided!
