"Very nice accommodation, easy access into York with the bus that stops outside and drops you back off outside"

The shower needs attention as the water doesn’t drain properly (only a small issue)

I had a great stay and really enjoyed my time at villa farm. Everything was simple from booking, checking in & out and the facilities provided were more than expected. The location was perfect and the surroundings were very picturesque. I would definitely recommend.

"Good location, had everything we needed"

Stayed in Dante cottage. Very bijou but had everything we needed. Good location, nice grounds for walking the dog. Grounds were well kept and plenty grass when you stepped out the French doors. Used the Rawcliffe Bar park and ride which was close by for travelling into York, perfect!

Although lovely grass area out of French doors, very noisy main road.

"Very pleasant stay, would definitely stay here again"

Location was ideal for an easy trip into York. The cottage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The grounds were very clean and tidy.

The cottage (Melrose cottage and others) could have parking right outside the door if the non functioning pond/fountain was removed from the yard area. There was ample space in the guest car park but it would save the walk and especially when it’s raining!
