"I really enjoyed my stay here."

The cottage was lovely and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the linen felt nice.. There was plenty of space for two people ( sometimes smaller properties are a bit cramped but that wasn't the case here) I was greeted by a welcoming smile at reception. It is very convenient for the Park and Ride to York and Tesco supermarket. Lots of tourist information leaflets which were helpful. There was lots of convenient parking

"A very pleasant last minute break in an excellent location close to York."

Great location. Everything we needed for a short break. Free parking. Well equipped.

Wifi could have been a bit better and the road was quite noisy if you wanted to sit outside. Wasn't really a problem for us as we were only there three nights, but maybe a problem if you're there for longer.

Location was very good, the setting is lovely and very nice to sit out if weather is good

Bed very creaky and didn’t feel the most sturdy, the living room sofa also very uncomfortable especially in warm weather

property is as described. was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Out of York a few miles, but very close to park and ride, and local bus stops at farm gate.

WIFI was unreliable and poor at times.
