"Fantastic getaway"

The place was spotless, little bits like toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, towels and other bits were all provided. The hot tub was clean and ready for us on arrival, the beds were comfy, really lovely stay would highly recommend.

I have zero complaints about our stay

Hot tub was 30oC so we couldn’t use it, this was 1 reason why we booked… for the hot tub which we couldn’t use so left slightly disappointed.

"It was good."

The lodge was spacious and well equipped. Good area and distance from York City Centre. The restaurant was good as well.

The light in the bathroom didn’t work and it look like it was about to fall off. Tried to contact the emergency contact but is only available between 5-8. And it also took awhile for the heating to work therefore we were freezing for the first hour.

"Our stay at Fox Lodge"

It was beautiful ,really spacious,clean and bright with all the facilities,fridge freezer,dishwasher,washing machine,2 bathrooms,spacious bedrooms and living areas,hottub was lovely with privacy screens too.

There was a,shortage of glasses,and cutlery for the amount of people staying at the property and also only 2 chairs on the decking,but that was all really

Lodge is a great size and clean and comfortable. Would have given amazing review but there was a few issues.

We have stayed in this lodge before and 1st time was amazing. This time we had issues from the start. The wind guards around the balcony were broken so no privacy for us when using hot tub the poles were missing. Not as clean as previous trip and we had bedding and towels missing even though they were aware of the amount of people staying. It was a red hot day and the fridge was not working for us. We called to let them know and were told it wasn't an emergency. Took so long that we ended up having to chuck out most of the fresh food. Restaurant is lovely but this time we had some of the staff being a bit rude .
