Wren cottage is a beautiful cottage, with everything you could possibly need. It in beautiful surroundings too. It was lovely staying here.

"Beautiful, cosy cottage in a fabulous location"

Wren Cottage is in a beautiful location, not far north of York. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very well presented. The beds were comfy and it was cosy and warm on a chilly weekend. Claire, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and her recommendations of places to visit and to eat were fabulous. We loved our stay and next time we visit our son at uni, we'll definitely be back.

"Great stay"

Great location, 20 minute walk to the pub, easy drive into York. Well equipped for cooking, cosy living room to relax in. Super clean too 👌🏻

Personally for me the mattress was slightly too firm so ended up with back ache after two nights.

Fantastic location in the quiet countryside but still only 20 mins from centre of York. The property was spotless and it is clear the host has really thought about their guests. Communication was brilliant before and during the stay and host was always available if required.

Beautifully decorated, very clean. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils. Lovely wood burner. Easy to park, good location for York, but also for the beautiful countryside around

"I needed to get away from a hectic life for a few days and this was the ideal place for me and the dog to relax and expl"

It felt very quiet and private, ideal for my break away from a busy life. The surrounding area was beautiful and we (me and the dog 😊) visited the lavender farm and castle Howard. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated also
