Monte Madalena

Todo estuvo maravilloso, Madalena estuvo muy atenta y nos ayudó en todo. Es una pena que estuviéramos tan poco días, nos gustó mucho y nos gustaría volver de nuevo. Sobre todo por la hospitalidad de Madalena, la zona es muy tranquila. La casa es súper amplia y muy cómoda, todo estaba impecable.

Nos gustó todo, no podemos decir nada negativo de la casa

La tranquilidad del lugar. La amabilidad de Madalena. El pequeño pueblo donde se ubica.

Lo único que pondría pegas sería a algunos escalones para acceder a la piscina y salir de ella. Tengo problemas de equilibrio y me tenían que ayudar.

Madalena was a brilliant host, made us feel very welcome and helped out with local eateries and attractions. The pool was a lovely size, clean and well kept. Big living room, decent sized bedrooms. We also loved Madalena's dog too, super friendly.

The house was perfect for three generations of our family to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped, there was an outdoor barbecue, the pool was wonderful, especially in a heat wave and the children really enjoyed the pool toys, which were provided. Madalena herself was a wonderful host, she even baked us a chocolate cake on arrival.

The only thing missing was air-conditioning, but the weather was unusually hot

The property is overall in good condition, however some areas are starting to require a bit of attention. The outdoor area is great, including the pool. The location worked very well for us, but you would definitely need a car if want to move around. The host was lovely and very accommodating.

The main reason why we rented a villa was to allow us full privacy, therefore we were quite surprised when we were told by the host that she lived upstairs. Despite the host being very quiet, this is something that should be clearly outlined in the booking information.
