I love the place. Nice relaxing location and very cozy cottage. Perfect place for getaway. Host was very friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The log cabin consists of 3 separate spaces and from outside it looks like two separate ones. Kitchen & living room area has a gas stove for heating and enough comfortable seating for at least four people, a twin bed / couch and a dining table. In bedroom there´s an AC, enough space for storing clothes and a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. I spent also a lot time sitting on the comfy chairs right outside the cabin doors. Bathroom is located in the middle and it´s equipped with a tub. Enough hot water was available all day around as well. For one person at least. I was here for two nights in march and hiked all the nearest routes. The nature, views, pine forrests, the town of Alora all made an impression. Communicating with the hostess, Jane, was both easy and effortless and she walked me through everything from how to heat the room up with a gas stove up to tips of how to drive on the narrow roads It´s not the most modern facility next to the supermarkets (a few km) and the tap water is not drinkable although there was some 6-7 liters left for my use by the host, so this place might not be for you if you´re looking the easiest stay. For me though these things made it even more perfect couple of days in the country!

I like the fact that it is quiet here, with view on mountain El Hacho. To get to Finca la Pedra, you drive up a mountain through the oliveyards on a small road with great views. Jane is very friendly and welcoming and will answer any question you may have. In the cabana you have everything you need for cooking etc.

I can imagine there are even better times to visit then february, but still no complaints! You really don't want to forget one little thing when you go for groceries

Jane was a perfect hostess, very friendly and helpful. Tha cabana was very quaint and comfortable and had everything needed and more. A good base from which to explore the stunning area. I would recommend private transport as train station is a good way from property although Jane was good about picking me up.

very tidy cabana, with all the amenities needed for a relaxed stay. lovely views, comfy bed. 2 patios with chairs. easy parking. fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
