Nefertari Guest House

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

The only issue we had was unlocking the doors, which was MOSTLY operator failure on our part. We were hilariously unfamiliar with the lock and latch system, being from the United States.

Well situated just a few minutes from the ferry. Clean, good value and a very helpful host.

At the moment there is no outside sitting area although this will change once the roof terrace is completed.
