Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed. Roomy

The kitchen was dirty. Had to clean bench tops before using it. Inside cupboards very dirty. Found dirty plates in cupboard. I have advised host.

We had access to a fully fitted kitchen with additional food to support what we brought with us. The owners were aware there was nowhere to eat nearby. The house was outstanding . Lovely decor ; historical and artistic interest. The bottle of wine was well received. This was a stop on the journey delightful setting, though not a lot in Athol itself. We went down to the river for a paddle. The cafe sells great ice-cream and coffee. The art gallery close by, was closed by the time we were sorted but has some lovely work in the widows.

No complaints. Big thanks to our hosts.

The most beautiful stay ever. What a wonderful lodge! Such comfortable beds, amazing shower pressure, and fantastic hosts. I would stay forever if I could!

The fire was set for us on arrival on a cold winter afternoon and a bottle of Prosecco waiting, what a welcome. We enjoyed our time here, driving out to the Mavora Lakes and riding a section of Round the Lakes bike trail from there towards Mt Nicolas Stn, stunning. Back to our accommodation where we could cook our own meal, a luxury when you are away for several weeks and a nice comfy bed. Facilities to do our washing were an added bonus. Would highly recommend.
